- Arrive on time to the published venue where you will be greeted by a Mingle & Match Speed Dating host.
- Your host will take your registration photo (this will only be shared with mutual matches).
- Your host will provide you with brief instructions of the event, a name tag, a registration code/form to complete before your dates begin, a private match card to complete during the event after each date, and a drink token.
- Generally, one group of participants will remain seated at the same individual table during the event while the other group of participants will move from one table to the next for each date. Your host will be there to guide everyone.
- Each date will last at least 7 minutes, and your host will alert you as to when you need to move onto the next date or for a toilet/drink break.
- Between each date you will fill in your private match card for that date to let us know if you would be interested in another date, to just be mates, or if they are just not your vibe
- At the end of all your dates you will hand in your completed private match card, and you are welcome to continue socialising at the venue and get to know the people you liked a little more.
- The next day, you will receive an email with your mutual matches’ mobile number so you can further your mingling. Don’t worry, we will never disclose your personal information to someone you haven’t matched with.
A Mingle & Match Speed Dating event runs for about 2-3 hours. This includes all your speed dates and any drinks breaks. At the end of the event you are welcome to continue socialising at the venue and get to know the people you liked a little more.
Speed dating can go very fast, and you may forget the face of someone you have matched with. As part of every Mingle & Match Speed Dating event, each participant’s photo will be taken to share with mutual matches. Don’t worry, we will never send your photo to someone you haven’t matched with.
The dress code standard at a minimum is smart casual. You should feel comfortable, confident, and you must abide by the venue’s dress code.

Mingle & Match Speed Dating caters for 20 – 60+ year olds. Each event posting shows a suggested age range. We suggest you choose an event which accommodates your specific age however we are flexible if you are a year or two either side of the age range.

We know sometimes people are just inside or outside but specifically looking for partners in that range and that’s totally fine!
Mingle & Match Speed Dating events are a fun, laid back and unique dating experience for singles. You can form genuine connections and intuitively gauge your interest in someone far quicker than behind a screen.
It is important to arrive at your Mingle & Match Speed Dating event on time. If however you are running late you will be sent an event reminder via email and/or SMS closer to the event date which will include contact details for your Mingle & Match Speed Dating host.
Mingle & Match Speed Dating is based in Brisbane, Queensland (Australia). We host speed dating events in various Brisbane venues.
We understand that you may feel shy or a little nervous however don’t forget every other participant is also feeling just like you. You are most welcome to purchase a ticket for a single friend or two for courage. We love it when friends join us for a fun and unique dating experience.
You will fill in your match card after each date. The following will be the outcome of a match or not and what type of match you get:
- Let’s go on a date + Let’s go on a date = Dating match
- Let’s go on a date + Let’s just be mates = Mate match
- Let’s just be mates + Let’s just be mates = Mate match
- Let’s go on a date + Not my vibe = No match
- Let’s just be mates + Not my vibe = No match
- Not my vibe + Not my vibe = No match
Mingle & Match Speed Dating will email you your matches the next day after your event. Don’t worry, we will never disclose your personal information to someone you haven’t matched with.
Mingle & Match Speed Dating will usually email you your matches the next day after your event, and always within 48 hours. Don’t worry, we will never disclose your personal information to someone you haven’t matched with.
The day after your Mingle & Match Speed Dating event we will share your first name, photograph (taken at registration at the event) and mobile number with your mutual matches. Don’t worry, we will never disclose your personal information to someone you haven’t matched with.
How do I book a ticket to a Mingle & Match Speed Dating event?
- You will be sent a confirmation via email and/or SMS. Please check your junk folder for an email from Mingle & Match Speed Dating.
- You will be sent an event reminder via email and/or SMS closer to the event date.
Each Mingle & Match Speed Dating event shows a suggested age range. We suggest you choose an event which accommodates your specific age however we are flexible if you are a year or two either side of the age range.
